After having had four kids, and not really leaving them for a long period of time since before we even had four kids, it was a strange and empty feeling.
Don't get me wrong, it was wonderful to bond with Shane in a special way that week. But he even said it was too quiet and boring without the kids and we don't know what we would have done if we were just married for the last 8 years without having children. It's just so boring without them.
I love my Shane. I love my kiddos, and I don't think I could live without any one of them!
