A New Year (two years late posting!)

I really do think the last two years zoomed by, that is probably why I had such a lousy time updating my blog! I know having this sweet baby didn't slow anything down a bit.

This past year has been amazing, and sad, and exciting and scary!

I am excited that we got our first nephew last year, sweet baby Jack Coffin! And we are expecting our second NEPHEW this year, baby boy Ryerson! How exciting! Waverly will have two boy cousins to play with on either side of the family.
You already know about our new Waverly girl (so much loves!) She is now two months old and weighs 12 pounds! Three more pounds and she doubles her birth weight!

Some things to look forward to this coming year:
Nephi turns 14, will start going to church dances and youth conferences, and this year our stake is doing Trek!! for you not familiar with this new LDS tradition it is when the youth ages 14 to 18 go on a mock pioneer trek with a handcart for three nights and four days in pioneer dress style from the 1800s (except they get to wear modern shoes, which is totally cheating IMHO lol) I am hoping to be able to have Shane and I go as an "aunt and uncle" and bring baby along. Anyway, it sounds like an amazing adventure and spiritual experience!
Emmalily will be 11, so it will be another year before she enters YW and gets to go to girls camp, but I hope she enjoys her last year in primary and Activity Day Girls.
Elijah turns 8 and has decided that he wants to get baptized! We have decided to bless Waverly the same weekend so my dad can be there to help with both the confirmation and the blessing in February.
Willow Turns 7 and wants a cheetah themed birthday with water games at our house! I love that girl, shes so creative!
We are planning to go to the pyro guild international convention in Indiana this year in August with my parents (a tradition I grew up with that i cherish to this day!) So my ids can have the same fun I had as a kid learning about pyrotechnics, building their own firework shells, and buying wholesale fireworks and setting them off every night for hours all week long and end the week with the biggest best fireworks display you ever saw outside of Disneyland (and maybe even better!)
